I Sent 600 Security Reports Last Month. Here's What Happened.

I sent security reports to over 600 small businesses last month.

Most of them opened it. Almost none of them called.

I get it. A cold email saying "your website has problems" sounds like a scam. So I want to be straight with you about what this actually is.

What near0 Is

I'm Kyle Nicholson. I'm in Marietta, Mississippi. I'm a Marine Corps veteran and former surgical technologist who built a tool that scans the public-facing internet footprint of small businesses and produces a security report.

Not a fake report. Not a template with your name swapped in. An actual scan of your actual domain — the open ports, the DNS configuration, the SSL certificate status, the email authentication records, the data breach exposure. Everything an attacker would see before deciding whether to target you.

Why I'm Sending These Cold

Because the businesses that need this most aren't looking for it.

A dental office in rural Mississippi isn't Googling "website security audit." They're thinking about patients and billing and whether their receptionist is going to quit. Security is invisible until it isn't — and by the time it isn't, the breach has already happened.

So I find the problems first and send the report. If it's useful, great. If not, delete it.

What I'm Not

I'm not a vendor with a SaaS platform and a drip campaign. I'm not going to add you to a mailing list. I'm not going to send you twelve more emails trying to "add value."

I take 4–5 new projects a month. I work with small businesses. You talk to me directly — not a sales team, not a support ticket, not an AI chatbot.

If You Got One of These Reports

Everything in it is real and verifiable. If you want to walk through what it means and whether it matters for your specific situation, you can book a free 30-minute call or just reply to the email.

If you don't want to hear from me again, there's an unsubscribe link. No hard feelings.
