Origin
HOW IT ALL STARTED
Pierre Aubert discovered paramotors in 1986 in Andalusia, Spain — and was immediately fascinated. In 1989, he began selling his first paramotors and taking his first flights. During one of those early flights, he took a photograph and noticed something critical: the motor's torque was causing the frame to rotate uncontrollably. That observation changed everything.
Pierre went to work designing a frame that would solve the torque problem. The result was the first PAP paramotor — built in 1989 in Manilva, on Spain's southern coast. The design worked, and PAP was born. In 1997, Pierre formed the Spanish paramotor team alongside Ramón Morillas, laying the foundation for what would become one of the most decorated competition teams in paramotor history.

THE EVOLUTION
PAP was among the first manufacturers to pioneer the low anchor point design — a configuration that dramatically reduces the effect of motor torque on the pilot, making the paramotor significantly easier and more comfortable to fly. That engineering principle still defines every PAP frame built today.
Over three decades, the TINOX frame has been refined through real-world competition data: lighter materials, stronger joints, better harness integration, and trike compatibility built in from the ground up. Strict quality control at every stage of manufacturing ensures that every frame that leaves the facility meets the same standard the factory team competes on.
Today PAP has authorized dealers across Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Belgium, and the United States. North Coast PPG is the exclusive US dealer for the full PAP lineup — paramotors, trikes, harnesses, and parts, stocked in Akron, Ohio.
Records & Championships
ON THE HIGHEST STEP
OF THE PODIUM
Ramón Morillas holds the FAI height record of 7,808 meters and the distance record of 1,105 km— both set flying the PAP TINOX. A PAP factory pilot since 1994, Ramón is the most decorated pilot in the program's history.
Karen Skinner, the PAP “PAPWOMAN,” holds the female height world record and 8 current female world paramotor records including 6,250 m altitude and 440.9 km distance.

PAP has competed in 3 World Air Games and accumulated 7 world championship titles across all disciplines — cross country, slalom, acrobatic, and pylon racing. Every title was won on the same TINOX frame available through North Coast PPG.
The Team
OUR COMPANY
PAP is led by founder Pierre Aubert, who continues to oversee product development from the company's base in Málaga, southern Spain. The same engineer who designed the first PAP frame in 1989 is still refining it today — every detail, every gram, every joint.
The PAP factory team — Nicolas Aubert, Ramón Morillas, Horacio Llorens, Karen Skinner, Raúl Rodríguez, and Tom de Dorlodot — provides continuous real-world feedback that drives every update to the TINOX lineup.
